I lived in St. Louis for three years. Not southern. Get below Arnold and it gets more and more southern. The Ozark area is like Arky, hillbilly. Southern Illinois gets southernish as well.

St. Louis is an hour and a half away from Springfield, Illinois. Does that sound Southern to you?

Springfield is north for me. I'm not southern, but very rural area. Fk the Amish is 15 mins away in my county.

Springfield is also cub fans, south of there, we are mostly Cardinals fans.

But no, STL is not southern. You don't get quite there untill Springfield MO which the Ozarks are southern in my view. It gets worse the further south you go lol. Sry, if that offends anyone

St. Louis is surrounded by a Southern-type voting sentiment of white suburbs that vote Republican".

Every single Iowa county voted republican in 2016. Does that make them southern too?

Nothing in Mizzou is southern, geographically or culturally.

Yankees who lived in Missouri include Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, James Longstreet, and the grandfather of JEB Stuart. Name one famous southerner from Mississippi other than the brain dead Jefferson Davis who personally lost the war.

Who has to remind you to breath?

The only people who want to be Southern in Missouri, live in the boot Heel.

Ever hear of Little Dixie? And it's Bootheel not "boot Heel."

Well technically it was part of Louisiana at one time.

And founded by New Orleanians.
