By all means don't ask the MD. Ask the OT.

Like most cancers, it matters how far it's spread by the time it's diagnosed.

Idk if it's the same type but my father in law had some type of kidney cancer --- they found a spot on his kidney while scanning him as he'd been diagnosed with prostate cancer so they were checking to see if it had spread.

He had a section of the kidney removed which was the only treatment and he is fine. Lucky for him he had prostate cancer otherwise they said by the time it would caused symptoms and would Have been found, it would likely have been too late for any intervention.

Also if I remember correctly the two cancers they said were not related.

Good luck to you.

I think you mean renal cell carcinoma, Ive never heard of squamous cell of the kidney.

If it is a mass localized to kidney it is completely curable. If metastatic not good. Need more info

False.

Most any half assed urologist can deal with a kidney mass.
