Spinoff thread?

It’s too late at night for this discussion.

Yes.

And it's the perfect time of night for such a thread.

How does vibrating matter get a conscious or subconscious for that matter? Yes a pun was intended.

Count me out ... I’m moving linearly outta here for tonight.

Looking forward to reading the discussion in the morning though.

Now dammit ... if we’re going to go all string theory and full blown dark energy/dark matter multiverse up in here I may try to stick around for a few more minutes.

Michio Kanu has a name for what you are describing. I paraphrase but it’s something like “God’s Song” or along those lines. And he is one of the co-founders of Field Form String Theory which I personally subscribe to ... if they could ever get that little one inch equation that actually works down on paper then The Nobel Prize is theirs of course.

Hope it happens in my lifetime. They seem so close,

Not so much a conscience as a memory. Relating to other strings connecting the relative to the quantum ... in a way.

Yet the strings do break apart in Field Form String Theory which would explain a lot of things where dark matter and dark energy and quantum entanglement are concerned.

Combined, according to Kaku, it all makes a cosmic music or God’s Song which would explain some theological conundrums as well in terms of where the soul originated and where it may go after death.

It also works well with Einstein’s contention that God does not roll dice with the universe .... there is a higher intelligence out there. All the math bears it out.

All heady stuff worth reading about from two of the most brilliant minds in the history of our species.

No, bruh.

It's about the potential for teleportation.

Oooooo boy, here we go.

You do realize, do you not, that teleportation is more about transmitting data than it is transmitting mass, right?

It also means you could be leaving a copy of yourself down on the planet’s surface ... if we’re talking Star Trek stuff here?

First things first. Let them build a quantum computer and then use that to help figure out a way to teleport living beings. Given that there is no physical law preventing teleportation. Rather it’s something that is so far into the future (on a commercial transportation scale and realizing that they’ve already done it with one atom over a distance of one meter I think) so far into our future that it seems beyond our realm at the moment. There are a lot of ethical questions to be answered. It’s in the same room with cloning human beings at the moment.

I do believe that it is the answer to the interstellar space travel question though. Not through Star Trek like teleportation but more along the lines of data being stored and transported via a ship of some sort over long periods of time and distance, and then being downloaded into a humanoid host upon arrival with the understanding that the data could be regularly updated given the ship would be traveling much slower than the update light beam that could be sent to keep the human data current.

If that makes any sense.

At any rate, once they figure it out it is going to drastically change everything. Nothing will ever be the same. It is, without a doubt, the next big thing.

Quantum entanglement is our first inkling of the galactic Internet.

Instant connection between particles where distance is irrelevant.

C’mon. Everyone knows this. It will be how we will communicate with our space fleet, as the future unfolds.

Vv exited.

Two entangled electrons communicate with each other instantaneously even when many lightyears apart.

How?
