quote:
give us a breakdown of the charges
My grandparents fly it routinely from Houston to Denver. To the best of my knowledge:
Fee to pre select your seats.
Fee depending on where the seats are located.
Fee to use the over head bin.
Fee for checked bag.
I don't know if they have any others.

And they give zero frocks what you think.
Not one single airline GAS about customer service, because key, they don't have to.
(Shrugs)
That goes fro you, too, Mr. Double Daimnond Platinum.

I just booked a flight from miami to vegas. Spirit was $340, nonstop. American was $515 nonstop.
Did not even consider spirit for 10 seconds at that price. It would have to be about $400 cheaper on a 5.5 hour cross country flight. Seats are smaller and harder than any other in the industry. Less leg room. Lines are a zoo at the airport. Fees for everything.
No fricking way. I've done spirit to vegas twice. Every trip since, about 10 of them has been American or Jetblu at 200-400 more and worth it.

Northwest and continental weren't bad. They no longer exist in their previous form.

Continental was very good. Unfortunately United is kind of a disappointment.
Delta was crap for a while but they are on their game now. I'm very pleased with Delta.

Delta is the best within the US domestic legacy carriers IMO... there are very crude analogies I could make here, but I'll refrain
