Montana has the least percentage of black people, so I'm going to go with them.

My family from Illinois seem to bring up race conversations EVERY time they visit.
When I was younger, I just thought they were trolling us Southerners.

I don't know that I agree it is the most, but it is far worse than Texas or Louisiana. I have no basis to compare it to Mississippi. Indiana is pretty damned bad too.

Pennsylvania - was once invited to a KKK meeting while I was up there for work. They assumed since I was from the south I would want to attend. I did not attend, but was told the high school guidance counselor, mayor of the town and the local state rep were all members of this local group.
I was shocked this was going on but was later informed that PA was the leading KKK membership organization in the country.

Interesting that people picked Massachusetts. I spent some time up there and yes they ade indeed rascists but the most rascist state I've been too was when i lived 3 years in Hawaii. Hands down Hawaii was the winner.
