A fraternity brother who was living in NYC was one of the few people who was convicted of murder for a drunk driving case. He was going 70 on the wrong side of the interstate and hit a limo coming from a wedding full of the bride's family. He originally said he was intentionally on the wrong side of the highway and intentionally ran into another vehicle trying to kill himself. He recanted that later I guess when he sobered up and a lawyer told him they were charging him with murder. He was convicted and got 25 years

What’s the story?

I knew a drug dealer (my babysitters bf, then later in life he was a source of recreationals) who shot another drug dealer but he survived. Over acid of all things.
He ended up with a bullet in his own head on the side of a Florida highway a year later.

What’s the story?
I was headed home at 6 am and it was raining. Driving on an unlit highway (fall time so it was pitch black out).
This guy decides to illegally cross the highway on a bike and gets hit by a jeep headed 1 way (4 lane highway with a median) and gets sent over into my lane (headed opposite direction) and he was wearing all black and I didn't see him til it was too late. Had a car next to me too.
So, my car jumped his big fat arse and I ended up with ground meat from 1 end of the car to the other.
Turns out he was dead, duh.
I found out 2 weeks later, media source, that he had been out of prison for 13 years.
He killed his 6 month pregnant girlfriend in front of her 6 year old by slitting her throat.
Somehow, someway got out on an appeal after 10 years inside.
fricked me up for 2 weeks but now I joke about his fat arse.
Typically I say I didn't kill him. I just say I made it so he had a closed casket.
Eta....anchor away.

Similar story, I know a girl who ran over a motorcyclist after he fell off his bike and rolled into her lane. If she had been sober, no big deal. Because she was drunk, 16 years in prison with no parole.

My trashy female cousin in Tennessee who I haden't seen in many years was mixed up with two white trash male addicts. Picked up a couple for a drug deal (meth I think) in her car, one of the guys shot and killed the couple in the backseat in cold blood. They ditched the car under a bridge which was found the same day by police.
She serving life in prison I think. Very tough on her family. Her parents ended up having to adopt her 3 kids.

Damn.
I'll say this. I've never been more scared in my life than the 2 hours I had with State Troopers while standing in the rain.
Eta....ive taken an arrow to the head near my eye and I've been in a boat that went down with no pfd and it wasn't a comparison to that day.

A guy I was good friends with in middle school and the beginning of high school ended up arranging to have his family murdered years later. His mother and brother were killed and his Dad injured. Now he's on death row. He's had several TV shows and segments about him.
Think I saw that program...wealthy kid from Texas maybe and the dad forgave him and still visits him in prison? Set them up after going to a restaurant or something?

Grew up with a guy who robbed and murdered someone. Didn't know him at that point as he was in the "slow" class. Got caught with victims wallet as well as the bloody clothes.

Yes.
1. Former HS football teammate. Killed a narc agent soon after graduation. My senior year we had a team fight at practice (happened often). One day this same guy comes into locker room after practice with his gun. Was tackled before any shots...we kept it in house and no school punishment.
2. Former player I coached shot and killed 2 people as a hired gun.
3. 3 former students are in jail for 3 separate murders as well.
Also have another former teammate who was shot and killed over about $25 of weed.

Any murderers you hung out with that you remember?
i know 3 people who have killed other people.
1 guy killed 2 people in “self defense”. In completely separate incidents about 8 years apart.
1 that killed someone in a drug deal gone bad.
Guy i knew through work killed 2 workers at a Video Poker joint. made them get on they knees, then shot them execution style. After his conviction, turns out he was wanted for murders in 2 other states.

That's the guy.
His Dad convinced the Governor to postpone the execution if I remember right.
He was a popular topic at our HS reunion.

The last two should not be held at Angola for life without parole but that's just my opinion. Both should be let out by 2035.
Bump! Chad Cameron has been granted parole.
