There are tons of variables I'm sure and some I have never thought about. That's my perspective going in. Obviously if she becomes a murderer or child molester I'd have to rethink our relationship status but it'd be hard pressed for me to stop loving her if she is the woman I married. There was a reason for it.

No I was telling you basically how I loved my ex, but why I left him(the meth, abuse, etc....that was him).
And I didn't marry my ex. I never made vows before God saying I would love him until death parts us. I did make those vows when I married my husband and I take them seriously. If he cheated on me....we would do all we could to save the marriage through prayer, counsel from our church, therapy...everything.
With my ex....I actually put up with a lot for several years before finally walking away. It took a long time before I realized his behavior shows he doesn't even love himself...,so how could he ever really love me if he couldn't even love himself and seek the help he needed (and that I was willing to stand by his side if he sought help).

Paige, I'm a hard man to love I suppose. Extremely analytical and I don't throw around emotions. I could have attached myself to whatever happened by the past ten years. I'm just not interested in that.
