Move all my livestock and valuables to the back of the property and start on a shelter back there.
The house by the road will have a staged crime scene where it looks like a murder occurred. Any intruders will think there is nothing left of value and move on.
With a garden, cool spring water, and fresh meat I can survive for a good while I suppose until things get back up and going

I have massive stockpiles of ammo already, thanks to conservative talk show hosts scaring the shite out of my father about Y2K, Obama's imminent power grab to become a dictator, and race wars.
Maybe start hoarding salt and other preserving spices? It will help keep any meat from spoiling and I can then stockpile food to use for bartering and to buy slaves. Use my newly acquired slaves to open up a ludus and train them to fight for entertainment in old SEC football stadiums. 85,000 people packing in to see a blood sport, each willing to barter a few chickens, a couple of goats, some equipment, or fabric; on holidays and special occasions I'll make the event free to earn the goodwill of the masses. Using my income from the gladiatorial games, I'll build and fund my own private armies to police the territories and keep outside threats at bay. Eventually my sphere of influence will grow to encompass most of the southeast. The entire US is far too large to control without means of mass communication, but order and civility will be restored to the south.
