I grew up on the West Bank, went to school in Nola, spent 7 years in BR during/after my LSU days, and have been living in Lafayette/Broussard area the last 11 years. It's truly night and day difference the overall way of life is over here. I never have my head on swivel when going places. It's probably the best place to raise a family in LA right now.
