Leaves are falling at such a fast rate right now it's pointless to try to have your yard and surrounding area leaf free. The wind is blowing them all over the neighborhood. Wait until the trees are almost bare to get OCD about your yard.
Personally, I like the visual of leaves all over the ground. The colors are pretty and it makes it really feel like Fall.

I blow my leaves into the road, let the cars drive by and force them all against the sidewalk, and then vacuum them into a bag from there. By the time I'm done cutting the yard the leaves are nicely lined against the sidewalk and easy to vacuum. It is an efficient process. Thanks drivers!
