Interesting.

In the last 65 years baton rouge has lost more than it has gained.

True it would appear that baton rouge is much better than Hessmer or Pineville.

But is it ?

In the last 65 years baton rouge has lost its' character and identity.

And I can cooked just as good or better at home. I don't fry my chicken and sausage jambalaya. Nor my red beans rice/sausage.

When my wife and I retire in the next 2 years we are gone pecan. I found a better place out of this hell hole of a state.

Nope- he's 100% correct. Airline Hwy was never that bad prior to the "mass migration." It's just the truth. I've driven it daily for 38 years, and it happened within a month.

Couple that with the poor LA road funds there have been zero new roads built in BTR in the last 35 yrs you mentioned

Wait I thought you were a female. Does this mean you like to go Downtown Julie Brown? You prefer the wedge than the driver off the tee?

The problem in Baton Rouge and South Louisiana is that there is limited land for roads due to so much swamp and waterways. Couple that with the poor LA road funds there have been zero new roads built in BTR in the last 35 yrs you mentioned. Some have been widened but not nearly enough.

That's absurd, why make up shite?

Central Expressway and Picou Lane extension are two that come to mind immediately.
