Thoughts sent.

I put the goals out there a couple weeks ago so all the shifts knew what needed to be completed to protect the holidays.....

Drinking beers today instead of working

Working day shift tomorrow. Not thrilled but knew it was a 24/365 operation when I signed up, so I’ll make the best of it.

I’ll be on night shift tonight.

But I actually enjoy it. My family already did our Christmas party and I’m unmarried with no kids.

I’ll gladly come in, barely do any work because it’s a holiday and get paid 2.5x my regular rate for 12hrs. On top of that I get the automatic 8hrs holiday pay

I'm off today and tomorrow, but I would get 32 hours each day for working 12 if working the 2 days. You make adjustments working shift. The people I feel sorry for are the food industry workers who are getting paid shite anyway with no special wages for holidays.

No thoughts given.

It's your job....you presumably knew the hours when the job was accepted.
If you don't like the hours of the job, get another job.

Free will.

Merry Christmas!

Agree. Those who get little to no additional money, it must stink for them, and they are still expected to work.
