Spanish Parents instituting no homework strike

Nothing will get you ahead in life like refusing to prepare yourself and doing your work.

Let them fail. I give zero mierdas

When I was there, it was 50% unemployment for people under 30.

I lived briefly with a guy who had to leave because he couldn't afffordnthe rent. He had a masters in engineering. Knew French, English, Spanish (obviously), and one other I think. He had job offers in Paris and the US but refused to leave the country.


Also, FWIW, in Spain, the parents completely spoil the kids. Taking a summer job and shite is actually disgraceful for teenagers and college kids are expected to live at home till they graduate.

That's why walking through the parks can be x-rated. College kids all live with their parents so they have nowhere to screw so they all go to obscure parts of giant parks

My kid isn't doing 3 or 4 hours every day of homework in middle school like some of these schools want.

Students hate it, parents hate it, and the teachers hate it. It's not been proven effective.

Why keep it?

And when I say homework, I don't mean long term projects like book reports or similar endeavors. I mean those meaningless worksheets you have to fill out.

The only benefit I see is in math, which is rote memory most of the time.
