Is this your way of saying you want to get shirtless and sweaty with another dude all alone out in the wild?

I'd like to learn how to build a shelter like that. My question is: If you are using a mud/straw mix as your walls, what keeps the rain from turning your walls into wet runny mud? How do adobe walls hold up in rainy elements?

Dude is using Alluvial Clay mixed with mud. No need for straw.

Sounded good anyway.

But once that clay dries, does it become muddy when it rains? I would guess not because you'd have to recreate your walls time and time again.

My question: What keeps the dried clay from becoming runny in a rain?
