That tornado was just a little SSW of me. I live near the river in Scottsboro and as it was clearing out in my area and looking towards the tornado I could see the clouds look like they were rotating. I’m not a trained spotter or anything but the clouds were definitely rotating.

It put one down for a bit. Maybe two scans worth.

60mph gust for me a bit ago well behind the line with blue skies and sunshine.

I'd be on the lookout for another to form headed into Sandrock.

Confirmed tornado NW of Evansville, KY.

Indiana?

It’s right in that border of Kentucky.

Here in Louisville they’re saying more severe stuff is going to move in closer to 3:00 pm. We’re just waiting it out right now.

Indiana?

I couldn't see the state line for the storms.
I took a 50/50 shot.

You were close. Evansville sits right on the border.

Nothing big here in Louisville at this point. Looks like a lot of it is breaking up before coming through. Hopefully we've dodged it today.

We are getting gusts of 70+. Had to start my charcoal in the garage, but gonna attempt a pizza in this wind.

Well, this has a chance to be exciting.

Our power has been out since about 1230. It's pretty localized and they've already got the only downed pole back up so I'm thinking they'll have it back by tonight but we will see

This is basically the best weather you could have for not having power so I'm not even daring to complain

We haven't had issues here yet, other than the normal trash blowing into the yard from others yards.

Are some downed trees and a couple of trucks overturned on I75 because of wind.

We’ve been getting some good winds now. Louisville Airport clocked a gust at 76 mph. Higher than gusts we had when Ike came through in 2008.

Some trees down over some bigger thoroughfares and a couple semis blown over on I-65 and I-264 E.

Not as much rain as they predicted. But have seen several folks in my area mention they’re without power. My parent’s neighborhood is out.

Friday night is pizza night for us, and I'd rather attempt to make it than get in my car and try to drive somewhere.

A building in Midway Kentucky, near me, has lost a roof and lots of limbs down all over here locally. I'm sure a lot of roof damage.

They just reported multiple semis blown over on I-64 between here and Lexington. Makes sense with the way the wind is blowing and where it lays.
