For the record:

I’ve eaten both sweet and unsweet watermelon in several locations NOT in the American south.

Ive had good watermelon in GA, but Smith County Mississippi is best.

I wondered that myself, but it happened. They were smaller than regular melons but they were really good and with no seeds they were great.

I know it sounds weird but they exist.
