I guess the weather channel is not concerned with TENN or upper Miss or Bama. They decided to put on one of their stupid shows. I bet if this shite was on Atlantas doorstep they would be all over it. Frickn sad.

I doubt that The Weather Channel has anyone in the studio after 5pm these days.

Has something happened in Sheffield AL? It was a bright ?pink on our Knoxville weather, but they didn't mention much outside of their "broadcast" area? and nothing that far west.

Sounds like mostly downed trees from what I’ve seen so far.

Yea I almost posted earlier but held back because I’m not as confident as I used to be with this stuff, that I felt like there wasn’t much chance this was anything super significant with the lack of significant debris signature.

There has been some trickiness going on with these storms the past few days. Many confirmed tornadoes, even some sigtors, haven't had notable CC drops. I'm not sure what it is, if it setup related, storm motion, or what, but it has been hard spotting verified tornadoes (from ground truth) on quite a few of these storms lately.

That tornado earlier tonight in NE Mississippi was over a damn forest and never had a noticeable drop.

I wonder if it held together enough too be on the ground in Sheffield and Muscle Shoals, and then...what happened when it passed the cliff where the Tennessee River has down cut, and then hits the hill where Florence is.

Man, the storm line just arrived in central Mississippi. I wouldn’t consider it severe, but it is one hell of a thunderstorm line!

That part of the state always seems to get tornadoes. Right on the MS - AL border.
