I just don't buy into the new fad of weather sensationalism, and threads like these just feed into it
Just checking in to see if what we’ve seen occur so far tonight is dramatic enough for us to be allowed to discuss it? TIA.

Are horizontal vortices a particular sign of strength?
You can just about bet that one with HVs is a significant tornado (EF2+). There is no guarantee that it is a violent tornado, though. There have been EF2s and 3s with HVs.

Channel 5 in Memphis has SOMETHING whether it be a wall cloud or a wedge tornado on a live feed right now just north of Dixie, AR
I figure it's a wall cloud but whatever it is is very bad

That dude went through at least the first 8 pages and downvoted every post. Must have mental issues or something.

Here is the storm west of Memphis. Doesn’t looks super strong on velocity, but it sounds like there is a pronounced wall cloud if not a tornado on the ground.

My niece is on the Miss river near Memphis going north on a large tug. All they can do is try to pull over.

This is the one that went through Forrest City? Is it confirmed that a tornado didn't touch down in Forrest City, but was only radar indicated?

Correct, I don’t think anything touched down in Forrest City.

Was wondering what he was thinking when I noticed the rain and wind coming past his car towards the tornado.
Reminds of that video of the Tuscaloosa tornado of the guy in the mall parking lot.
He was dangerously close
