Possibility of moving to south (ish) Florida. I would work remotely and have to frequently take trips to Kissimmee and pompano beach and boca. Any suggestions on where to live for a guy with a family (3 kids)?

Anna Maria island area is great. We are moving to Holmes Beach ourselves

Isn't that near Tampa? That seems out of the way to cover Kissimmee and pompano beach/boca raton, no?

I would go to the gulf side of the peninsula. Basically anything south of Tamp is really nice.

Just looked up demographics and stats in Jupiter....seems pretty nice. Is it ridiculously expensive to live there?

This, or a bit west to Jupiter Farms if you want some extra land.

You are correct. It is the upper end of Longboat Key. Just above Sarasota. Very nice, quite and beaches are great.

I have a cousin there and it's fairly expensive. He just got married and they are expecting their first child. However, it is a beautiful place to live. A ton of PGA guys have moved there in the last two decades.

What ever you do, DO NOT wander into for real Florida. Stay in the beach area Florida.

We raised our children living in a house in Wellington (western Palm Beach County). We enjoyed it. As an empty nester we bought a condo in Delray Beach which is on the Atlantic although the condo isn't ocean front. I loved Delray Beach called the village by the sea but more suited for adults to live in town than a family.

Edit to add: if you want the Gulf of Mexico side, check out Naples / Bonita Springs area.
