Sonic App - Does it block you from ordering when you're near the restaurant?

I only go there when they offer a BOGO or half off an entree. Plus all their drinks are always half off on the app. It seems like the 3 times I've tried to go there this year I was blocked. I would pull into the stall, select my choices on the app and then hit the order button. It always spins forever and never completes. I once drove half a mile down the road and tried again and the order would complete instantly. I just got blocked again today. I drove home and was instantly able to get to the next page with the final price.
Has anyone else had this problem at Sonic or any other restaurant?
Should I ask to speak to a manager in the parking lot?

my roommates had the same problem this weekend. ordered online, sonic is walking distance, and they ended up having to order from the kiosk

The sonic where I live turns theirs off during the day, I guess because lack of employees

Yes. It just happened to me. There was no spinning wheel of death (or at least not very long), but I got one of those "Something went wrong" prompts.

Every time, I order on my app while I'm already at the stall. I've never had it blocked. My wife has tried it, and it has "hung up" on the order twice. We have different carriers, and I think it has more to do with her carrier service there than anything Sonic is doing to block orders.

Give up. Those apps like that were coded to lock up and dump orders at high traffic times.
