Too add insult to injury, there's a white baw wearing a dashiki in that picture. The cultural appropriation is rich in that picture.

Slavery is bad.

I find it ironic you say she was a willing participant and also call her a victim in the same sentence

I specifically noted that what I was trying to say was that she was not kidnapped and forced to do this against her will. She is 100% a victim. My point is the punishment for the perp is different for a victim that goes along with the crime (vs running away) compared to a kidnapped girl tied up in a dungeon

I think that line has been crossed either scenario when talking about pimping out pre teens and that line should be the difference between life and the death penalty and not 5 or 10 years

It’s pretty easy to understand.

Also pretty easy to understand that a 14 year old has no ability to be a willing participant as a prostitute

It’s clear to us non-retarded people that you meant to convey the idea that the victim was more like “sounds like a great idea, when do I start” rather than dragged into it kicking and screaming, and that that may factor into sentencing.

Not that I know whether that’s how cases like that work, but it’s clear that that’s what you are speculating.

Either scenario the sentencing should not start or finish at 10 years.

No they don't. Consent is a legal term. "Willing" is an emotional state, at best.

Now, I'm the first person to walk cats back who want to fry a 21-year old for getting with a girl 16 years and 10 months, but this is some sick, indefensible shite.

I mean, if the parents are okay with it a 30-year old could marry a 16-year old under some circumstances.

But this was a 14-year old girl that he may have targeted when she was 12 and he was pimping her out.

Fry him.

In this scenario, the kid doesn’t have the right to give either, regardless of actions

Let me give you a tip, to be of service.

If you have a buddy who calls or texts and says something like:

"Dude, I know this sounds creepy but, I met this 14 year old girl who loves to have sex and she will be overjoyed to have sex with you and your friends for a couple of bucks. Don't tell anyone."

Your next call, immediately after hanging up the phone, should be to the police.

As if the willingness of the 14 year old to prostitute herself should lessen the severity of the crime. What is wrong with you?

I'm sure the 12-14 year old really willing to prostitute herself out for money for which she received none of the proceeds.

Redneck seems a little lenient on the sentencing for my money, but the word “aggravated” can tack a few years on, and it isn’t being used in this case, it seems.
