sometimes you just have to do it for the culture

Intern at the office was telling me stories today about when he used to serve at Mike Anderson's. My personal favorite was about a woman who requested some to-go containers after dining in. they had been extremely busy and momentarily ran out of Mike Anderson's to-go bags so he had to put the boxes of food in a generic bag that did not feature the restaurant name/logo. Apparently this was a huge issue and she threw a fit saying "OH NO BABY I CANT USE THIS. I NEED THE MIKE ANDERSON'S BAG. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHERE I WAS." Next, her son helped further justify her request, commenting "YEAH MY MOMMA TRYNA STUNT!" He didn't really say how the situation ended, but i heard enough and then chuckled and shook my head all the way back to my desk to get on TD.
