Sometimes my own generation makes me angry (a rant)

I don't wanna sound like one of the guys who hates his own people and acts like they are better because I'm sure that I'm not. I'm a gen Z and man we can suck.

First of most of us are nicotine addicted. You could randomly strip search a teenager right now and find some weird flavor straight from china that's poisoning them faster than any normal cigarettes would do, not that its any better. And I feel like everyone is so ignorant. I've known plenty of people that don't even know basic history like who George Washington is, where on a map Europe is, or read at like... a 2nd grade level.

And everyone is always recording and sharing online. Nothing can ever just be a moment to yourself or with the people around you, you always have to share it somewhere online. Or like if you call out a girl for getting around you will be called an incel, or some other label and be told even if you try to be tolerant that you have "internalized Misogyny", or some stupid label. You cannot talk to some people for more than 10 seconds, without them saying "I'm not reading allat", or calling you a yapper.

And if you don't appease them, they will become angry. I once dated a girl who seemed to be pretty cool. She randomly decided to become "non binary" and come out to me. She was edgy so I thought she was joking and laughed. That led to her being angry and us breaking up, just because I didn't want to date someone who wasn't a girl. I don't care what I'm called but its ridiculous to expect a straight person to wanna date you after that. And I'm not saying all women are like this now, but there is alot of bad going around.

You can't disagree with someone politically without being called some sort of label that doesn't really mean anything anymore due to overuse. They will call you a fascist and not listen to a thing you say afterwards. I think this is a product of the internet. Being stuck in an echo chamber without any opposing views has led to people going crazy. And they want to be victims so badly. They will keep demanding you appease them and attack you until you fit their beliefs and will do it again once they decide to change their mind.

I think the internet has driven us all crazy. I love the internet and my close friends but I think my generation has gone crazy. Am I being self righteous here? I'm sure I'm guilty of one of these things, but others my age will not even acknowledge this. End of rant... people my age would've called this yapping.
