A guy I know that lives in Slidell posted
the following:

"So I pull up to gause stop light leaving my neighborhood and there is a cop popping off rounds using the stoplight as cover. He retreats to the other side of my car continuing firing putting me right into the line of fire so I screamed f@$! and ducked. Realizing I should just slam on the gas and get the f@$! a split second before I do the cop advances to 4 feet in front of my car still firing. I had almost ran him over, so I duck again. Finally got out of there, I hope no officers are down. We will definitely be seeing that in the news shortly."

Dell sucks. I completely converted to apple.

At approximately 7:40pm, Slidell Police Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery in progress near the area of Gause Boulevard and Rue Rochelle Drive. The suspect and officers exchanged gunfire. The suspect was injured and was transported to an area hospital. No officers were injured during the incident.

Currently Slidell Police, Louisiana State Police and the St Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident.

No further details will be given at this time due to the fact that this is an on-going investigation.
