Working from home and no daycare meant spending months of quality time at home with my son, something that could never happen under normal circumstances.
It also broke some bad habits like wasting money eating out and instead cooking and eating as a family more often.
It put a pause to many worldly things like movies, games, consoomin’, even sports and more time to focus on the things that matter, like God and family.
In many ways it was a blessing and probably was to others whether they see it or not.

I moved to Houston which is something I needed to do a very long time ago. The Covid WFH made the timing less of a risk. Been there 6 months now and love it.

Got engaged, bought a house, got married. Had about 200 people show up too. I feel bad for people that stopped livin.

I got lucky. Random recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. They needed someone with experience in a dying software that my old company was knee-deep in. I’m basically sun setting this software and learning a modern one. It’s awesome for my career
