Something positive that happened for you in 2020/2021..

I'm stating the obvious but with so much going on the past 1+ years, seems like everything going on deals with anger, negativity, and hate, especially on this board. I want to reverse that. Figured I would ask you guys/girls about some positive things that went on in your life in the past year or so. I am genuinely curious.
And yes while this year has pretty much sucked arse for me, at least I can say I've had some positive things going at least. I had a promotion at my job and moved to a much better apartment complex with neighbors who aren't half bad, so I'll take it. Hopefully as we venture into 2021 and beyond myself and all you guys/girls on here continue to have good vibes go your way.

Working from home has been a Godsend. I've gotten so much done around the house and yard, it's been crazy.

Got a 100% remote job. They doubled my current salary as well

I was able to spend an incredible amount of time with my family last spring.
I was working from home and my workload was extremely low. The weather was also incredible.
I'll never be able to have that again in my life.

I absolutely hate working from home, but doing it so much last year allowed me to spend a LOT more time with my family (especially my newborn son) than I would have normally had. So that was awesome getting to hang with him during the day.
Also finally left my shite old job where I hated the people I worked for and moved to a MUCH better work situation. That removed about a million pounds of stress off my shoulders.

8 months of sobriety, lost 50 lbs, repaired all of the important relationships in my life. Let go of all of the negative ones and built new ones with better people for me.
