No, I sure as heck wouldn't.

BUT, I wouldn't have left that mofo at the airport either.

Suggestion:

Don't call the police back.

Call the pawnshops.

I'd leave it alone with the assumption that the owner wasn't dumb enough to leave it behind.

There could have been 50 people think that and you get the one guy that sees it and snags it.

So if you saw a guitar in a public place, and no one was around, you would take it home?

If course not, that's a dick move.

Ok, when you find yourself in a hole, you should stop digging.

People are not intrinsically honest, ANYWHERE you go.

You fricked up. Just own it, because now you're just coming across as a whiny bitch.

This is why I always just give my luggage to the chauffeur holding the sign with my name on it before I go and take my airport shits.

Some people aren't as classy though.

Martins aren't like Dui's Walt. They don't grow on trees.

Sucks Pancho. Probably taken by someone that can't even play guitar.

FTR, I seldom fly with mine. But when I do, I "gate" check it if I can't bring it on the plane.

No. If I saw YOUR guitar in a public place I would smash it just for fun then take pictures of the smashed guitar and post them on here for you to cry some more about.

Why can't you just own your mistake, dickhead? Who left their stupid fricking guitar in an airport restroom all night? You did.

Does anybody know a website to look up guitar values? Is guitar center a good place to sell used guitars? Would it be better to put it on Craigslist?

I dont play guitar but happened to pick one up.

If anybody wants to buy it i will throw in a pack of some cigs i never heard of.

He also needs to realize that each airline and rental car company has their own lost and found too.

I was brining home a couple of large duffels worth of winter gear, so when I came back from the restroom, I had my hands full and didn't even think about the fact I had left it in the stall by accident.

I brine all my winter gear too, helps keep things moist.

And did you not listen to the airport intercom? DO NOT leave bags unattended. You fricked up, son.

That would be classic... dude starts this thread complaining his guitar was stolen because 'no one has turned it in' only to find that it was still there because also no one stole it.

He's not really a victim.

If something is so very special and also 3 feet long ... dont lose it. Not that hard.
