Modern day Christmas is pretty trashy in general.
-buying thousands of dollars of Chinese junk for your kids
-spending thousands of dollars on chinese junk to decorate your house, to post on instagram
-getting that candlelight service pic for your instagram
-bragging about how much you love it earlier and earlier each year, because it gives you a longer dopamine rush from spending money and listening to shitty pop music.
Im sub-40 years old, but old school about this holiday. Its bigger than it should be, for all the wrong reasons.
