It seems like snake oil

I read more into it and people use it for witchcraft and spiritual stuff.

I've never ever heard of this stuff playing sports.

It is suppose to keep you cool right? I remember the football team, when I was in HS used it.

But it was put on towels and players would put it around their neck when coming off the field

So the alcohol evaporates making you feel cooler? Or do you dip your sack into it?

That's because you're a gymnastics fan. It's at every little league park in the south in the summer.

Never played little league so that would explain why I haven't heard of it. Thanks Mr. Ship.

The alcohol makes it colder or at least feel colder than regular ice water

Submerge your feet in a tub with warm water and a splash of Florida water in a tub for an immediate effect on your sore feet. After make-up removal, apply Florida water for a smooth skin. When you have a cold, apply to a tissue and inhale the fragrance to decrease your headaches. Use Florida water in a spraying bottle to eliminate odors from your kitchen and bathroom.

It sounds like modern day snake oil...

It only works between 20 N to 41 N latitude and 80 to 88 W longitude. Definite snake oil.
