Not at all. People really aren't moving here, it's not a place most people would enjoy living. It's really not the weather, it's just not a place most people who aren't into outdoors or arts really enjoy for a long time. It's an urban country and even the largest city still has a frontier feeling.

Exactly

Majority who move here live in Southcentral, around Anchorage or in the Mat-Su Valley. I live in Southeast and life is pretty much unchanged, except during tourist season. Still dependent on fishing for the local economies.

Most people who come to my part of the State do it on cruise ships and rarely see much of the area outside the ports. People come, spend a few hours and leave. Fall and winter are my favorite times.

Amarillo is at the southwestern most tip of the great plains. I consider it West if I'm a rancher, or Bandido.

This. Humidity can be a warm blanket when it’s hot or a cold one when it’s cold. Wet air allows for a much better heat transfer to and from the body.

This process wins out normally unless the wind is strong enough to cause convective heat transfer
