I almost fricked up like this but way worse. I was pretty low on the chain, but worked for a global company and wasn’t a big fan of my manager. We had a meeting at night with our overseas people and before we started the meeting I was on IM with another work friend. Well I was actually hosting the meeting so I was running the PowerPoint on my screen so everyone who joined the online meeting could see as my manager went through each slide. At one point , my manager said something really dumb and I started to open the IM to my work friend and basically trash my manager. Fortunately I remembered that everyone in the meeting could see my screen so I closed the IM. I probably would have been fired, thank god I didn’t follow through.

Eh, he had explained something weeks ago that if I remembered, I would have been able to figure it out. It's just been so long since I had seen that it was out of sight out of mind.
