re: Somebody explain "recruiting guy" to me.

Used to call them jocksniffers. It's amazing ....and disturbing to watch on line. An associate of mine has a son that plays for a BIG 10 school and of course like all the kids has a twitter and facebook account....the amount of lurkers out there is ridiculous asking them all types of questions reading into comments that the kid makes when responding to a real friend online.....thinking they know what these kids are thinking, etc. and apparently there are free lance recruiters , who for a fee, can get you noticed by coaches and programs all over the country.

It's all over the place. I remember that NSD used to not be the extravaganza that it is today, hell I had a few friends from Bro. Martin whose only special treatment they got for signing with a major school was about 10-15 minutes at lunch to call the school they were going to commit to and it was done from the coach's office
