I mean look right now. "Why is louisiana so cold" is like the 6th autocorrect. That is likely due to our cold winter and people googling it like crazy

Definitely no law. It's pretty rare to get maternity leave.

Well what is FMLA then? I thought you had to give new moms a month or so off. Or is it that compensated leave isn't mandated?

FMLA ensures you have a job after your maternity leave. No money. I think Cali and another state have laws for paid leave. But like lsupride said, it's pretty much unheard of.

gotcha. I thought all these mothers got paid for the time off. Our company pays them.
