I think it's just the latest wave in our history. In the 90s I went to school with a bunch of SE Asian kids who fled communism. Most came when I was in 7th grade. Great guys who fit right in. It happened with the Irish, Germans, Italians, etc. They all arrived to assimilate into our culture.
Now these people come with no ambition to assimilate but rather want everyone to honor the shithole they fled. It makes no sense. If you like your culture so much just stay where you were. Don't make US taxpayers support your attempt to turn this country into your shithole origin.
