That was so worth it.
It was so awesome I wanted to cry. Pictures can't do anything like that just to see you have to actually see it in person to understand how bad as it is. It look like it was painted on the sky in the most awesome part was a diamond ring effect at the end
Strange times during an eclipse. Birds stop chirping, insects stop moving, alphas go beta.

Here in Baton Rouge I was using the shoe box technique, except with one of those large protein powder containers. It didn't work. Then I took the lid off with the hole it and help it up to the sun, only then did the image appear on the ground. I'm just needed a longer container. I'll get it right next time.

That insane storm we got a year or so ago shitted all over this eclipse. I remember it going from daylight to pitch black at 10am. This eclipse sucked arse.

We were at 98% in Atlanta...kinda anti-climactic. I thought it was gonna get dark. Just looked like right after a storm rolls through and the sun comes back out.

People told me 97% to 99% was a huge difference, and I did not believe them.
Well, it definitely got darker at 97%, but nothing like pitch black.

It was great. Looked like legit nighttime with a bright moon. Then you look at it and it's even cooler than that. Awesome. Tons of crickets started chirping as well

I loved watching it get darker and then lighter. Very cool experience.

Coolest thing IMO is the temperature. Feels like early November outside.
