For chain stuff, Lafayette has Chuy's and El Pollo Loco . Both are pretty solid for what they are. Tula Taco's and Taco Sisters are solid local joints
Food options shouldnt really be a concern in Lafayette or BR TBH. There are probably more important factors for quality of life concerns
