Should L'Auberge patrons be worried?

No- but hollywood and the belle should be... not because of the flooding just should be concerned in general

we're under a flood watch at this time every year.
Most other days too.

Is the ORCS finally about to fail and redirect the Miss River flow down the Atchafalaya?
Posted on 2/26/18 at 4:37 pm to CptBengal
Alexa says we're under a flood watch March 4-25.

I bet it ends up going to 44' or 45' when it's all said and done. The current forecast only includes rain that has fallen and rain that's forecast in the next few days. If another rainy pattern sets up over the Ohio River valley next week, the levels could easily reach 44' or 45'.

Record is over 47'. BR would be fine.

I don't think they open the Morganza at 40'. 44' or higher, then now we're talking.

The ORCS will fail when the Corps says its time to fail.

2011 was the highest in recent years. crest was 45' when they opened Morganza. Projected crest is 41' but I'm certain that will be revised upward as it only takes in the next 24 hour rainfall. Its going to get close to 2011

Welp, that would solve Baton Rouge's traffic problem.
