Random SOs, sure. Not a wife that dies. I'm not talking about a breakup, that's not the same.

My parents are fricking awesome, but I would be more shaken up by my wife dying. I really don't understand the thought process in thinking otherwise.

Didnt you say you've never met your parents or some shite?
Maybe i just have great parents. IDK.
My parents were killed when I was still an infant so I do not remember them. But I did have a parent figure in my life growing up which was my maternal grandmother.
I'm sure your parents are awesome folks and I don;t want to take anything away from them. All I'm saying is that once you get up around 20 years with your spouse and you've spent half that time raising your kids there is a bond there that is on a different level. You've built a family and lived a life with them at that point. I can't really put words to it other than to say you'd have to experience this type of marital bond to understand it.

A white girl died, that means no joking allowed. Meanwhile a lawncare guy gets fed into a wood chipper and it's 5 pages of puns. Gotta love hypocrisy.
Agreed, as usual

There have been other jokes in this thread, just none about fricking a dead body. That's pretty offensive, even for here.
I stopped reading the other thread after two pages. Was anything remotely that offensive posted?

I have to admit, the commentary above made me laugh out loud because it's so true.

Apparently. That goes a little past chip off the old block puns IMO.

I'm not talking about boosie, his comment was fricked up.. I'm just saying in principle people are treating this death completely different than the other, when both deaths are equally horrible
Because the girl is pretty. If she looked like Roseanne this would be a non-story.

Lines are drawn based on what a person looks like.

Well, there you go.

Ah, that explains your position then. You have no point of reference to understand why a person would view the loss of their spouse as being worse than the loss of a parent. It's a totally foreign concept to you.

and you dont have parents, so i guess we're even
