That's irrelevant. For all intents and purposes his "mom" died when he was 15.

You also could have just went and found it.

This back and forth is a waste of time, even by OT standards. Carry on with your petty bullshite.

What class was the girl that died in the accident?

I made inferences like most people do:

White girl with a smart phone, really well done hair, on a vacation, traveling around the country

I assumed she was at least middle class.

No.

That's not the issue, and I'm fairly sure you know that. A man cannot BIOLOGICALLY make another parent to replace his children's dead parent. Which is what you seem to have been claiming for a while.

How would you know it was petty? You can't even be bothered enough to read what is right there for you to find.

I guess I think people's reaction, especially in this thread, might have more to do with her looks as well. If she and her friend were both morbidly obese and unattractive, I bet there would be plenty of jokes being posted about the incident.

Ahhh, but that is the issue I was originally addressing and have reiterated many times.

If you want to argue the emotional attachment a person has to their SO is greater than the emotional attachment they have to their parents then I think that is up for debate on a case by case basis...an argument I think is useless and wasn't even in the mood to engage in.

If the article doesn't say, what makes you think we'd know?

I agree. This board loves them a sexy girl.

ETA: BUT if it was a white girl with gold teef then there would have been some more disparaging comments than if she was just not cute.

I'm not saying your original point is petty. I'm not saying that because I don't know what your point was. Your refusal to take 20-30 seconds to type out your reasoning, insisting that I sift through 12 pages of posts and going back and forth with me about it, is petty.

Um, nope.

In a biological sense they are.

I dont know how his grandma died. But i do know by simple math that she was prob 25-30 years older than what his parents would have been

She died of emphysema. She was a product of the WWII generation and like most of them spend the vast majority of her life smoking one cigarette after another. She quit when I was about 7 when her doctor told her she could either quit then and maybe live another 6 or 7 years or she could keep smoking and be dead in a year. She made it 7 years but the last 3 or 4 were spent with her going in and out of hospitals as her condition worsened. It was tough to watch. As for her age, she turned 67 two days before she died.
