I can read, but I haven't spent my entire day on the OT, so I can't just snap my fingers and find the post you were referring to amidst an 11 page thread.

Well then I guess you'll just miss out.

Start a thread about it.

Nah.

This is NOT in reference to what I just posted but I personally don't think people dying of fairly normal things from random other areas of the country are worthy of being posted here.. and I might even go as far as to say being newsworthy.

Not at all discounting someone's death. It's awful, and this story in the OP really made me sad. Just weird considering how many people die per year from a car accident that we have some make it to several news outlets and posted here.

I don't care enough, to be honest. I guess I thought you could stop being an argumentative douche for 30 seconds and type out your reasoning for why the two scenarios are different. But I understand that's hard.

The comments on the article are in awful taste, and not nearly being as defended as if it was the same situation but a young/pretty girl.

The double standard is quite interesting.

It's not really about race and not so much about prettiness (although that has something to do with it) as it is about class-ism. I am a proponent of class-ism by the way.

Like you have any room to talk. Your first post in this thread is just begging for an argument.

Not all wrecks have such sad circumstances around them though. I'm not discounting anyone that dies life, but bride to be dying on the way to her bachelorette party a month before her wedding is pretty damn sad.

And not to take away from the devastation of this event, but that's what makes for more interesting stories for readers and media outlets know it.

See, in these last few posts where you're just arguing with me for the sake of arguing, you could have explained to me why you don't think it's a double-standard. But, alas...

Lee, as long as you continue to think I'm a douche, I'll know that my life is on the right track.

What class was the girl that died in the accident? Serious question, I quickly read the article but didn't notice anything about that.

Oh, I totally agree.

I suppose news outlets try to get a heart-wrenching story out of things like this and decide if they're worth spreading or not.

Know what this story reminded me of? The story a few years back about the girl on her bachelorette party (like a week before her wedding) who was pushed into the pool playfully by her maid of honor and landed wrong and was paralyzed from the neck down.

Yea, but that was not Darth's situation.

I dont know how his grandma died. But i do know by simple math that she was prob 25-30 years older than what his parents would have been.

I think she was a single mom, but was engaged. They looked like comfortable financially, middle class, white folks.

I just want to get this on the record so please answer these questions:

1. Can a man have more than 2 biological parents (meaning an egg donor and sperm donor)?

2. Can a man have more than one mother of his biological children? (think hard on this one because I think this is where you are confused about the word "biological" and maybe confusing the man for the children)
