After all this, public school is cheaper. Never understood how middle class white families had multiple siblibgs in private school. What do these dads do?

I just looked at BRMHS boys soccer jersey, the team sucks, but they have nice jerseys.

Episcopal 100%. 5 or 6 years ago U-High would have been a close second. However, it's turning into a football powerhouse.

EHS is amazing. Go see it. It is head and shoulders above any other school in the area.

St. Joseph's is the best all-girls school in the state, in my opinion. Their campus is amazing and the technology and education they have there is unbeatable.
You sir have obviously never seen Sacred Heart in New Orleans.
Everybody knows that OT ballers kids go to Episcopal. Best education money can buy hands down

One of my two daughters who graduated from SJA now has a bachelor's degree in Economics. Apparently, she was able to grasp something about Math. And both of them scored over 30 on the ACT....don't remember the match scores, but they must have been decent. Don't generalize about a whole school based on a few people you met who, maybe, shouldn't have gone there in the first place.

yeah, well episcobal and st joes are filled with vapid, stuck up people. A public school will bring you to your senses.

What is so great about Baton Rouge High?
It's free. Or at least you already pay for it with your property taxes.

You're wrong at so much. They are a three time National School of Excellence. What the hell makes you think they 'preach" contraception? You don't know what you're spouting off about. Birth control by monitoring the cycle of the woman is acceptable and is not contraception as you think it is.

What do you call a woman that uses the cycle as her only means of birth control?
Mom.

Episcopal alum here. Great school but not sure I can stomach 5 figures a year for tuition.

When I toured EHS, the middle school kids all had personal iPads. The High School kids all had laptops. Every classroom had a smart board and at least 6 computers in addition to their personal computers.
Teachers taught using the smart boards, capabilities of which I had not known existed.
Each kid has a login on their school website with an email account. Students and teachers communicated after hours this way. Assignments were posted online.
Grades were accessible online as well as club information, homework, tests (both scores and copies of the tests). Some assignments and tests were taken online, at the students convenience either timed or open book.
I am told the students lost no school days for sleet because they had to log in and complete certain assignments.
It is kind of expensive (like $20k a kid) which is out of my range. At least I saw and know who my future bosses will be now.
