Something that occured to me today. Bobbie Gentry and Jerry Lee both live outside Memphis: BG in TN, JLL in MS.
Why would anyone who wants to be near Memphis live in MS w/income tax instead of TN?

Damn...no wonder why it seems so many people in my generation (X) are moving there from the midwest and MS. Once my youngest graduates in 6 years we'll empty nest downsize to Nashville.
KLG got her start in country music. Her big break came with Regis and I suspect her husband helped a bit there. I'm not unti the whole GILF thing but if I was she'd be near the top of the list.
