This had him speechless. And as he stood there wasting time with me, my wife (who was around the building watching and not approaching) had called 911. The police show up as he bolts off, only to be caught.
hopefully you gave him the information he needs to change his life. he's got plenty time to think about it.

No chance that happened.
10/10 you say this to a gun who is crazy enough to rob you, he will also proceed to shoot you. This isnt the movies where you can convince a crazed gunman that he can get a 2nd chance if only he puts down the gun.
