Because you like attention. So here you go.... here's your attention.
Whatever you might think. This isn't an attention post.
Did I think I would have this pushback? Yes.
I just wanted to point out the hypocrisy etc. and I believe in the separation of your employment and personal life.
Most ppl here and ppl I work with are weird scum outside of work but they never bring that shtt onto the job. Let the employer wash that out.

Calling for further violence, maybe.,..it’s case by case… but celebrating someone’s grisly mutter absolutely is… Candance Owens made millions celebrating George Floyd’s death

The ills of cancel culture aren’t based on some binary determination. “Canceling” isn’t some long-accepted term with a clear historical meaning.
I can, without being inconsistent or hypocritical, decry as a bad idea a person being fired and/or systematically silenced for saying something merely politically disagreeable (especially years previous), and at the same time encourage the firing on someone who celebrates the murder of an innocent man.
This isn’t controversial or difficult to grasp.
Sure, call the latter “cancelling.” Who cares? But it isn’t the same thing as the widespread anti-freedom campaign during COVID and riots. And even the most obtuse among us know that.
The perfect example of the dichotomy is the lady getting fired for an innocuous tribute to Kirk.
Anyone who praises the assassination of an innocent man, by contrast, is an incredibly and objectively poor reflection of his employer especially if that employer is in the business of teaching or caring for other human beings.
The fact that I even have to type all this is truly absurd.

It certainly can be.
But not all cases.
But my point is using their same tactics that we shamed for years.
Hypocrisy is disgusting.
