Have any of you tried the Smart Nora system?

I've always snored, it's a family curse. Sleep is really important to my wife [no pics] and it's gotten to the point where she's had enough of my chainsaw sounds. She's been wearing ear plugs but it's not ideal.

I've read some reviews on the Smart Nora system and it seems like a good idea. I am willing to spend the money if this thing works.

Have any of you tried it?

Oh, and for your trouble

You may want to try a $20 mouth-guard that prevents your jaw from relaxing at night before spending $300 on this.

I use the theravent strips and they help a ton. Takes a little getting used to, but my wife claims I rarely snore now when I wear them.

All of the women pictured are horrific snorers, but their significant others find it charming.

Yeah, I've tried that. They are uncomfortable as hell. They pull your lower jaw forward and put pressure on your top teeth. Every morning my top teeth had actually slightly shifted back. I had to gently bite down to get them back in line. After a while it sucked so much I would unknowingly take it out in the middle of the night.

If I've had a few glasses of scotch or red wine it's a guarantee that I'm going to snore so I do. But I married this gorgeous woman, I want to sleep in the same bed with her.

Lose weight to start, and take it from there.

I got into a weight loss contest with my brother and sister a few yrs back for new years.* We did the low carb thing. I lost like 20 extra "have a gf" lbs, and my ex said my snoring dwindled slowly as I lost the weight. Like I had to let her fall asleep first before I did, cause she couldnt sleep once I got started. I would wake up to her on the couch a lot. So yeah always been a snorer...."my fathers son". Ha.

If you are lean and mean, then try other stuff, but if you have some good excess weight to lose do that first. Then assess.

Well...unless this is a ad pushing this product of course. Ha!

*Good way to lose weight w/o the gf asking "why are you wanting to lose weight all of a sudden??" suspiciously. Ha!!

I'm 5' 8" 165. I've been skinnier and heavier, the snoring has been the same.

LOL, and this isn't an ad attempt, I REALLY need help with this.

Most likely it's something anatomical with your neck/throat.

Most people with sleep apnea are due to weight/age. Occasionally, I see someone who looks like they run marathons that test positive for sleep apnea.

I am 5'10 180.. fit and workout daily. I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea since I was a teen. It runs in the family.
Currently I have been using the Somnomed mouthpiece for 3 years now and it works great, but I still snore a little here and there.

I just looked at that link and decided to order it. I figure with that and my mouthpiece, hopefully it will be amazing. It has a 30 day return policy so we'll see. I'll keep you updated.

I know right?

The brunette is so hot it doesn't seem like it's even possible. It's like she defies the laws of nature.
