Sneaky women

What makes them act like this? I have a buddy who is seeing a woman who is downright sneaky. She tells little lies and lots of omissions. It's like she constantly has something to hide when she really doesn't. They're not exclusive and he doesn't care what she does but she lies even about benign things. Is this just a character flaw?

Sounds immature and strange. Some sort of arrested development thing going on. It reminds me of that kid at the beginning of high school who would lie about insignificant and obvious stuff because he wanted to seem cool. Maybe I need to get out more, but I don't think that I have dealt with this very much in a long time irl. Maybe some women who are overly dramatic about stuff?

Women do it to avoid confrontation. She may have done something that she feels would be a trigger to the SO.
