I had a similar thing happen to me at a hotel as I was walking back to my room. As much as I'd like to think this was my Penthouse Letters story about to happen, the hook seemed a bit too shiny.
Its one think if you're at a college bar at last call or your name is Wilt Chamberlin but I think you were being solicited. Probably by a cop too.

I was shite faced in Vegas once and had similar happen. Thought she was a hooker. Poor thing, she was just marketing for a new club and gave me a free drink voucher.

No. But it's more rare when you are available. Also, in 1999 my standards were higher and rarely was I ever bar loner. Always had buddies around who were single too.

If you are there often there is a good chance you would have seen her before, and this sounds like you didn't recognize her. Katy is a decent sized place, but not too big, so she may be from out of town on some sort of trip if you haven't seen her before. My gut feeling is that she's a serial killer, she finds the drunk loner, reels him into the hotel room and next thing you know bam!! you're wrapped up in a shower curtain and while your skin is made into a new one to complement her flesh lamp. Currently about 1/3 of murders go unsolved, you should thank your wife for not becoming a part of that statistic
