Sometimes people would say "hunh?" when I said U.S. if their English wasn't great. America seemed to work best in general in my experience. I noticed a lot of people acted like they never heard of New Orleans when I said that was where I was born, when they were asking about my accent. They all hear...

I loved all the museums in Chicago. I also loved Chinatown. I agree with previous posts that the Shedd Aquarium is overrated. They have beluga whales there, but Sea World is way better. I went to Notre Dame and Sacre-Couer when I was in Paris. Natives recommend Sacre-Couer more often. I loved Notre Dame though and had an interesting conversation with one of the priests while I was there. ...

I used to be a therapist for someone who is from there. They're really into their religion, and there's not a lot of room for anyone else. The lady I worked with was super cool and a free spirit. They kinda hated her and made her suffer on the regular for being Buddhist, among other things....
