Slidell Police rescue kidnapped Tennessee woman

Sgt. Daniel M. Seuzeneau of the Slidell Police Department said the text message sent to the victim's sister Saturday said the victim did not know where she was but that she was being held against her will in a hotel somewhere near New Orleans. That text allowed police to track the phone's location to a hotel, where the victim was freed from the "terrifying ordeal."

Not sure but no one knew she was kidnapped until her sister got the text...so, kidnap charges will be coming from Clarksville where it originated?

It says they are both from Clarksville, TN, so I'm guessing he did.
Why Slidell, of all places? Sounds as if he just threw a dart at a map. The article didn't mention any connection.

Seems it's a magnet for this kind of shite. Maybe because it's near I-10, I-59, and I-12 interchange or something.
We stopped at that big trucker gas station place(says AA or something like that on the sign) on the way back from vacation a few weeks ago and I really got kind of freaked out at that place.
There was some homeless guys pushing a grocery cart out of the parking lot, a few people who looked to be living in their cars parked there, several other wierdos in the store, and a "movie theatre" inside with caution/closed yellow tape across the door way.
I better the truckers go in their to watch their porn.

Well anyways, just glad they got the bastard. So, I'm guessing they will try him for rape in LA, and kidnapping in Tennessee, or is this a Federal case since it involves going over state lines?

Isn't just being in a Slidell hotel technically rape and assault on it's own?
