Possible the worst night's sleep ever. When did hospitals lose the ability to give patients drugs?

Cover someone with wires and electrodes from head to toe, say we're going to be watching you while you sleep and then cut the lights out at 9:30 but don't give them so much as a glass of warm milk.

WTF?

Anyway looks like i have severe apnea. Surgery is in my near future.

Sorry to hear about the sleep apnea.

I agree about sleep studies. I rarely seem to get a good night's sleep, so I tried a sleep study at a clinic. After 2 hours, it was very clear there was no way I was ever falling asleep with all of that crap on me and being forced to lay directly in the middle of the bed, so I gave up and went home. I then tried a home sleep study, but again there was no way I was sleeping with that device on. So I took it off and eventually went to sleep. I might also have sleep apnea, but I will never know because there is no chance I can complete a sleep study.

Surgery on what? Tonsils and adenoids? Why not a CPAP?

UPPP and tonsilectomy. Due to my age, weight and anatomy, I'm the ideal candidate.

Ave a pretty bad one for a CPAP.

Do you actually understand what this is? They're going to remove all the soft palate in the back of your throat.

Yes, I understand it.

Why do you assume I do not?

good point but only people with obvious sleeping issues do sleep studies.

are you overweight?

if so, wouldn't losing weight be more ideal than surgery?
